- Person Inmobiliaria (Valencia): The Art of “Domesticating the Office”
Located in the heart of Valencia’s vibrant Ruzafa neighborhood, the new headquarters for Person Inmobiliaria was born with a clear premise: to break away entirely from the cold, traditional image of the real estate sector.
Taking into account the dynamic workflow of its agents—who alternate between client visits and in-office tasks—we designed custom worktables featuring irregular legs and sharp angles that optimize space while providing a distinct identity. On the upper floor, we highlighted the building’s original architectural features (high ceilings with wooden beams and ceramic vaults) to house meeting rooms with cross-visual connections alongside a flexible lounge area.
This project embodies Destudio’s philosophy of “domesticating the office”: bringing warmth, serene color palettes, seamless mortar finishes, and noble woods from the residential realm into the workplace to foster calm, productivity, and well-being.
- COGA Colón (Valencia): Flexibility, Color, and Urban Dynamism
On the iconic Calle Colón in Valencia, we faced the architectural challenge of transforming a large space with low ceiling height and limited natural light into the new headquarters for the Official College of Administrative Agents of Valencia (COGA).
The project organizes its functions around a large central lobby reminiscent of a contemporary hotel atmosphere. Within this space, a series of monochromatic color islands host informal lounge and meeting areas that can be connected or partitioned using curtain systems, effortlessly adjusting visual and acoustic privacy as needed.
The design places the auditorium towards the rear—leveraging internal courtyards to enhance the sense of light and depth—and incorporates integrated acoustic solutions in wood and PET, achieving a seamless balance between functionality, spatial fluidity, and institutional presence.
- Anaford Abogados (Valencia): Heritage, Prestige, and Confidentiality
For the international law firm Anaford Abogados, the project encompassed the entirety of an emblematic building located on Pintor Sorolla street, one of Valencia’s premier corporate thoroughfares. The key challenge was pairing the elegance and distinction of Valencian architectural heritage with a highly contemporary working environment.
On the ground floor, we enhanced the double-height entrance lobby with a curved reception desk and a prominent indoor tree. The intermediate floors accommodate the main work areas, prioritizing acoustics, concentration, and confidentiality through glazed partitions and textile drapes that offer privacy without sacrificing daylight or spatial openness. Finally, the top floor features the main boardrooms, which connect directly to a perimeter terrace offering panoramic views of the city.
A workspace crafted not only for daily productivity, but also to build trust, close deals, and drive business growth.
- Hall PG56 (Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona): Impactful Architecture in Corporate Entrances
The user experience of a workplace begins at the very first point of contact with the building. On Barcelona’s prestigious Passeig de Gràcia, we undertook the redesign of the lobby at the PG56 building to solve the spatial constraints of a narrow, elongated entrance shared by occupants, visitors, and delivery personnel.
Rather than attempting to disguise the hallway’s narrow proportions, we embraced them: introducing a funnel-shaped geometric design that compresses the space and naturally guides the eye toward the interior focal point. To solve the lack of natural illumination around the elevator area, we clad the side wall in a wedge-shaped polished metal surface that reflects daylight deep into the space while creating dynamic visual interplay.
Noble materials such as natural stone flooring, continuous lime wall finishes, and polished or satin stainless steel bring timeless sophistication aligned with its high-profile location.
